Hi, I'm Portia, the founder and formulator behind Chrysalis Skin Lab. Our five serums are made in small batches in San Diego.

I started Chrysalis because buying skincare is a guessing game. You pay $40 or more for a bottle, hope it works, and start over when it doesn't. So I made it testable. The Skin Lab Kit gives you all five serums for $19. You try each one on your own skin, pick the one that works, and your $19 comes off the full size.

Every formula is built on actives with published research behind them. If an ingredient doesn't earn its place, it doesn't go in.

The name comes from the chrysalis, where the change happens. It's why the packaging looks like one.
