Why this one
For skin that flushes at the weather, wine, or nothing at all.
- What it does
- Calms the look of pink. The gentlest one I make, and it doesn't sting.
- How it feels
- A cool jade water gel that absorbs without residue.
- How to use
- Morning. 2 or 3 drops on damp skin, then moisturizer and SPF.
A chrysalis is where the change happens.
What's in it
Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate
A gentler cousin of azelaic acid, for the look of pink without the sting.
Centella
The calming plant everyone's heard about, for good reason.
Beta-glucan and allantoin
Two soft ones that help skin feel comfortable and settled.
Kelp ferment
A ferment that helps skin feel balanced, not tight.
Made for my own face first.
The chemistry, if you want it
Azeloyl Diglycinate. A gentle, water-soluble form of azelaic acid that helps skin look calmer and more even without the sting stronger azelaic can cause.
Centella Asiatica. A well-studied botanical that helps soothe the feel of stressed skin and reduce the look of redness.
Lactobacillus/Kelp Ferment. Helps support the skin's microbiome and a healthy-looking barrier.
Azeloyl Diglycinate calms the look of redness. Centella soothes reactive skin.
